Max Patch is a grassy bald mountain located in the Appalachian Mountains at an elevation of 4,629 feet and is a favorite spot for hikers. Photographers love the views and fall especially enjoy shooting at the peak as the leaves change color. Hikers of all levels can find an activity to suit them as there are several trails around Max Patch as well as access to the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
