Mauritskade and Buitenhof are two iconic landmarks located in the center of The Hague, Netherlands. Mauritskade is a street running along the side and back of the Mauritshuis museum, a stunning 17th century mansion and art gallery. It's exquisitely designed and decorated architecture makes it one of the most stunning sights in the city. Buitenhof is a stunning garden, part of The Hague Palace, which is located a short walk away from the Mauritshuis. The terraced garden is flanked by two neo-classical buildings and features a variety of trees, plants and flowers, as well as a large central fountain and a pond. Both Mauritshuis and Buitenhof are great spots for a walk and to take in some of The Hague's beauty.
