Matthorn

Matthorn, in Alpnach, Switzerland, is a mountain situated between two lakes - the Lake of Sarnen and the Lake of Lungern. This area is popular among hikers and adventurers, as it offers them interesting trails to explore throughout the village. There are plenty of great viewpoints along the trail which offer magnificent views of the Lakes and of the mesmerizing high Alpine summits above. With its breathtaking views, Matthorn is a great spot to take photos of the amazing Swiss Alps. It is absolutely worth the hike to make it on to the Matthorn peak - it gives the opportunity to capture breathtaking panoramic vistas across Zurich, the Lake of Sarnen, and the nearby Lucerne. An easy 7-km trail will make it to the summit, with dense woods and high mountain pastures.
