Matterhorn-Cervino, also known as the "Mountain of Mountains", is one of the most iconic peaks in Europe. Rising 4,478 meters into the sky, it is the highest peak of the Swiss Alps and one of the highest in all of Europe. Located in Zermatt, Switzerland, the Matterhorn-Cervino is a sight to behold both up close and from afar.

From the village of Zermatt, visitors can take the Gornergrat Bahn to ascend to 3,089 meters and get incredible views of the Matterhorn-Cervino, as well as other nearby mountains like the Monte Rosa and the Breithorn. Alternatively, a cable car takes visitors to the famous Kleine Matterhorn, the highest station in all of Europe, reaching 3,883 meters. This gives breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding area. For those looking for more adventure, there are several hiking routes leading up to the Matterhorn Cervina. The Hornli Ridge is one of the most popular routes to the summit, though conditions can be dangerous and anyone planning to climb the peak should be thoroughly prepared and experienced. Whether you're in Zermatt to hike or ski, you will almost certainly have a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn-Cervino. With its sheer walls and steep slopes, the mountain is an amazing sight to see and a must-visit for any mountain lover.
