Maspalomas Lighthouse is an iconic landmark located in the city of Maspalomas, on the Canary Islands of Spain. Its white and red brick exterior adds a classic charm to the stunning scenery, reminiscent of a Mediterranean postcard. The lighthouse stands 38 meters tall, and from the lantern tower on its peak, you'll have unbeatable views of the coastline. The facility is marked by a path of about 2 kilometers, lined with Mediterranean fauna. Enclosed within the lighthouse, there is an interpretative centre, that is dedicated to understanding the importance of lighthouses in the safety of navigation. Visitors can also explore a nearby creek, the La Charca de Maspalomas Nature Reserve, and the majestic sand dunes. Exploring the area can certainly be a rewarding experience!
