📍 From Palazzo di Valladorata, Italy
Marzamemi is a small fishing village located in southeastern Sicily. It is known for its beautiful coastline and its charming atmosphere. The town itself is quite small and can be explored on foot. It is home to a couple of beach-side bars, cafes and shops. One of the highlights of the town is the Palazzo di Valladorata, a beautifully preserved mansion built in the 17th century by the Marchesi di Valle d'Alessio. The villa is used by the Marchesi's family for private parties and receptions. It is closed to the public, however, its gardens and terrace offer stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The small beach of Marzamemi is well known for its vibrant colors and crystal-clear waters. It is also home to a variety of archaeological remains, including an old stone house.
