MaRS Centre West Tower is a glass office and research building within Toronto’s MaRS Discovery District, at College Street and University Avenue beside the city’s hospital corridor and the University of Toronto. It forms part of a major hub for science, health, technology, and entrepreneurship. Visually, the tower’s reflective curtain wall and crisp vertical lines contrast with the adjoining MaRS Heritage Building, a former Toronto General Hospital structure whose masonry façade preserves an earlier layer of the district’s medical history. Photographs that include both buildings capture the area’s defining mix of institutional architecture, modern innovation space, and the dense downtown skyline.
