Marina City - Corn Cob Towers are two of the most iconic buildings in Chicago, United States. Located here at the banks of the river Chicago, these two towers remain a hallmark of the city. Marina City was designed by the famous architect Bertrand Goldberg and the buildings were completed in 1964. The towers stand 587 feet tall and are connected by a bridge. This is one of the most vibrant areas in Chicago and there are numerous local cafés and restaurants. The area around Marina City has fabulous waterfront views and is full of life. The nearby theater performance venue, the Chicago House of Blues and the Theater at Marina City make it a great place to visit.
