📍 From Active Garden, Waterfront Plaza, Singapore
Marina Bay Sands is a waterfront integrated resort on Singapore’s Marina Bay, combining a hotel, casino, shopping complex and cultural venues. Designed by architect Moshe Safdie and opened in 2010, its three hotel towers are linked by the elongated Sands SkyPark, whose boat-like silhouette has become a defining feature of the city skyline. The contrast between the vertical towers and the sweeping rooftop gives the building its distinctive scale, especially when viewed across the bay with water in the foreground. Beside it, the lotus-inspired ArtScience Museum adds a sculptural counterpoint to the towers’ glass façades. After dark, the illuminated complex forms part of Marina Bay’s dense waterfront panorama, with reflections adding color to the water. The rooftop observation deck and infinity pool are separate attractions; the pool is reserved for registered hotel guests.
