Málaga skyline and Castillo Gibralfaro are two of the most iconic landmarks in Málaga, Spain. The skyline is made up of turrets, spires, domes, and towers. From the Castillo, visitors can take in the wide horizon and the views of the city. The Castillo was originally built by the Moors in the 10th century, but was reconstructed by the Spanish in the 16th century. The castle is a perfect spot to get a few steps back in time, with its ancient stone walls, cobbled paths, and open courtyards. The main entrance to the castle is from the cliff, from where you can enjoy some of the most stunning views over Málaga. From the top terraces, you can also have a great view of distant mountains, the Mediterranean sea, and souvenir shops. For the more active among us, the castle is the starting point for a hike that follows the contours of the mountain, offering spectacular views.
