Mala Syvulya is a 1,818-metre summit on the Syvulya ridge in the Gorgany, part of the Ukrainian Carpathians in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Its name means “Little Syvulya,” distinguishing it from the slightly higher neighboring Velyka Syvulya. Angular sandstone boulders cover its upper slopes, forming the extensive stone fields that characterize the Gorgany. Low mountain pine borders the exposed rock, while dark coniferous forests cover the slopes below. This contrast between rough grey stone, dense greenery, and overlapping mountain ridges gives the summit its distinctive visual character; including the nearby mass of Velyka Syvulya in a photograph also reveals the shape and scale of the shared ridge.
