It is also known as Big Beach and Dragon's Teeth Cove. Its large crescent-shaped white sand beach is tucked into a secluded cove with rocky headlands, providing excellent snorkeling and ocean swimming. The turquoise waters are perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking, and body boarding. The beach offers great views of the nearby islands, with ample opportunities to spot sea turtles, monk seals, and dolphins in the waters. A few hiking trails are accessible from its parking lot, meandering through the tropical foliage. It is a great place for lazing on the sand, or for a romantic picnic. To get there, follow Makena Alanui Road off the Pi'ilani highway. After turning into the residential area follow Po'olenalena Road, then take a left at the first intersection followed by a right onto Kealia Pond Road. The beach parking lot can be found two miles down the road.
