The M8 Bridge is a road bridge located in Glasgow City, United Kingdom. It is the longest motorway bridge in Scotland and forms a part of the M8 motorway, crossing over the River Clyde in the west of the city. The bridge was opened in the late 1970s and features two iconic latticework towers and one 84-meter-long span. It has become a defining landmark of Glasgow, often featured in local and national news reports, pictures and films. The bridge is also a popular spot for sightseers and photographers, with excellent views of the city and the river below.
