Lysá hora is the highest peak in the Czech Republic. Situated in the Krásná area, it is one of the most popular hiking destinations in the country. Standing at an elevation of 1,323 m (4,341 ft), it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding forests and the nearby town of Nový Hrádek, as well as incredible sunsets and sunrises. The best way to reach the mountain's peak is by taking the path from Horní Mísečky to Horní Maršov and from there a cable car can take you near to the summit. The peak of the mountain also offers many great restaurants and cozy hotels for weary hikers.
