Lviv National Opera, located in L'viv, Ukraine, is an excellent place to experience the history of local performing arts. Established in 1900, it is an embodiment of culture in the city. The ornate architecture and decorations of the building are a must-see. Inside, the auditorium often hosts ballet, opera, and symphonic concerts, as well as theater performances. Fun fact: during World War II, the National Opera was host to a hideout for Ukrainian Partisans fighting against the Nazi occupation. The outside of the building offers beautiful views of Lviv's lively city streets. The Opera is surrounded by restaurants, shopping malls, and other attractions, making it a great starting point for exploring the city.
