Lungomare C. Colombo is the waterfront promenade that runs through Santa Maria di Leuca at the southern tip of Puglia’s Salento coast, where the town sits between the Adriatic and Ionian seas. The promenade is visually defined by a broad seafront lined with palm trees, late‑19th/early‑20th‑century villas and ornate balustrades that frame views of the water, the nearby Faro di Leuca lighthouse and the white sanctuary that crowns the headland. Photographically it offers long coastal lines, rhythmic architectural details, and contrasting textures of smooth sea, stone quays and tiled façades; boat traffic and moored craft add scale and foreground interest. The promenade is a public seafront walkway providing direct access to piers and viewpoints along the shore.
