Ludwigsburg Residential Palace and Park des Palastes in Ludwigsburg, Germany, is one of Europe's largest Baroque palaces. Built in the 18th century by Duke Eberhard Ludwig, it is actually a complex of several palaces and a sprawling park that includes lakes, gardens, pleasure pavilions, an orangery and centuries-old trees. The palace is still furnished in the style of the period and its magnificent Baroque interiors feature rococo stucco sculptures, luxurious floor coverings and 17th-century tapestries.
