Luchtsingel Bridge in Rotterdam is an unusual pedestrian bridge that connects the Northern and Southern parts of the city. Unveiled in 2014, the bridge is strikingly unique, composed of wooden planks adorned with plants, colorful handrails and staircases. The design was funded by the local citizens by crowdfunding and is an inspiring example of the power of the people.
