The Lower Lewis River Falls, nestled in the southwest corner of Washington State, is an impressive waterfall and an amazing photographer's paradise. The Falls consists of four tiers cascading down an 85 ft. drop, making it the largest waterfall in southwest Washington. There is a well-maintained viewing area nearby with plenty of parking, picnic tables, and informative signage. Trails lead along both banks of the river to the lower falls and offer fantastic views from multiple angles. Limestone rock formations create a picturesque scene alongside the river. The Falls overflow into a beautiful pool of sparkling blue-green water that sparkles in the sun and provides a refreshing splash of relief from the summer heat. Be sure to come here early, to avoid the crowds!
