Lower Falls of Yellowstone River is a breathtaking natural landmark located in the Canyon Village area of Yellowstone National Park in the United States. This spectacular waterfall is over 309 feet (94 meters) high – making it one of the tallest waterfalls in the park – and is an amazing sight to see. The river drops over a rock formation known as the Lower Falls, which produces a plume of mist and visible spray. Seeing the river plunge into the depths below can be a truly remarkable experience. While you may not be able to get too close, there are several viewpoints and trails nearby that offer striking views of the Falls. It's also possible to take boat tours of the Upper and Lower Falls on a few different stretches of the Yellowstone River.
