๐ Ireland
Lough Beagh is a hidden jewel found in the mountains of Glenveagh, Ireland. Its serene water is surrounded by a landscape of heathery glens and grassy mountain slopes. While enjoying this perfect picture, visitors may be lucky enough to spot some of the local wildlife, including otters, pine martens, and even occasionally golden eagles. A local road leads to the lake and is a great spot for taking a nice stroll and appreciating the stunning views. The lake itself can be accessed by a small path from the road, but is also worth the climb up to the top of the surrounding hills. For history buffs, there are also ruins of an old 17th century castle that can be seen in the area. Lough Beagh is hardly visited by mainstream tourists, so travelers can still enjoy an authentic experience of the Irish countryside.
