The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) houses one of the most impressive art collections in the United States. With over 130,000 pieces of art in the permanent collection, ranging from ancient masterpieces to contemporary works, visitors are sure to find something they appreciate. The vast collection includes artwork from Europe, Asia, Latin America, as well as American art. Not-to-miss works include two giant mural pieces by British artist Chris Ofili, tall sculptures outside the entrance by Henry Moore, and the popular Urban Light installation in the middle of the museum. There is also a large section dedicated to Chinese and Japanese artifacts, along with a display of rare photography from the history of Los Angeles. All-in-all, LACMA is a must-see attraction for any art lover visiting the city!
