Lombard Street in San Francisco is a well-known landmark, known as the "crookedest street in the world". Running from Lombard Street to Leavenworth Street in the Russian Hill neighborhood, the eight tight hairpin turns of Lombard Street create a stunning visual spectacle for visitors. From the top of the hill, the view of the street curving around the bends is a popular photo opportunity. Hop-on-hop-off tour buses regularly use Lombard Street as a route, as well as classic car tours, horse-drawn carriages, and bike rides. The street is lined with bright red hydrangeas and is often filled with visitors.
