๐ From Appleton Scout Campsite, South Africa
Lions Head Peak is a must-see for any traveler to Cape Town. The peak rises 669 meters above the city, and the trail that leads to the top offers stunning views of Table Bay, the Twelve Apostles, and Camps Bay. The trail is easy to follow and takes around an hour and a half to reach the summit. The hike can get a bit steep in parts, but the stunning views and scenic landscape more than make up for it. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way! Pack plenty of water and snacks, and wear sturdy shoes as the trail can be a bit slippery. Once you reach the top you can enjoy a picnic and take in the impressive views of the Mother City and the surrounding mountains.
