📍 From Prospect Point, Canada
Lions Gate Bridge is an iconic landmark, spanning the entrance to Vancouver's harbour and connecting the north shore communities to the city centre. Built in the 1930s, the bridge spans 1,823 metres (6,000 feet) including the two main 22 metre (70 feet) towers and the concrete arch. It is one of the most photographed bridges in the world, offering stunning views of the Burrard Inlet and the North Shore mountains. It is one of the few road links to the north shore and is a popular spot for sightseeing and photography of the Vancouver skyline. Cyclists and pedestrians may cross on a specially designated path. The bridge is lit with LEDs of various colours, making it truly a beautiful sight at night.
