📍 Norway
Lindesnes Fyr, located in Lindesnes, Norway, is a beautiful scenic lighthouse at the southernmost point of the country. This 18-meter tall lighthouse is over 250 years old and is home to the first museum dedicated to lighthouses in Norway. It offers stunning views of the North Sea and the surrounding coastline, making it a must-see spot for visitors to Lindesnes. The bright paint and illuminated glass of the lighthouse make it visible even during dark winter days. A visitor center offers insight into the history of the lighthouse and the location of Lindesnes itself. There is also a souvenir shop, a gourmet cafe, and interactive exhibitions. Since the site is built directly on the sea-bed, it can be explored via guided boat trips with the Lindesnes Fyr boat. It is also possible to rent kayaks and paddle around the site and explore the surrounding area.
