Lillaz Waterfall is located in the Gran Paradiso National Park in Cogne, Italy. This majestic waterfall is made up of two different tiers and cascades over 30 feet (9 m) down into a crevice. The surrounding landscape is an ecologically diverse alpine mire, covered in lush vegetation and filled with wildlife. Just a few minutes’ drive away, you’ll find the trails at Lillaz, which lead to the base of the waterfall. During your hike, take some time to explore the picturesque larch forests, wildflowers, old bridges, and traditional mountain huts. From the base of the waterfall, you’ll find excellent viewpoints of the Italian Alps, offering stunning views of the Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc.
