
The Leuchtturm Warnemünde, in Rostock, Germany, is a historic lighthouse built in 1897. Located at the north-eastern coast of the city, the lighthouse stands tall and is the only lighthouse overlooking the coast of Warnemünde. Set atop an observation deck with panoramic views of the shoreline and sea, the lighthouse offers incredible views of the historic city of Rostock and the nearby Baltic Sea. Visitors can climb the 80 steps to the top of the lighthouse and enjoy amazing views of the nearby fishing harbor, spas and beaches. The interior of the lighthouse also contains a small museum that tells the history and stories of this part of Germany. The lighthouse is easily reached by public transportation. A visit to the Leuchtturm Warnemünde is sure to be a great way to experience some of Rostock's and Germany's history and culture.
