The picturesque Leuchtturm Düne is located on the tiny, North Sea island of Helgoland in Germany. This lighthouse stands tall at 23 meters and overlooks the deep blue waters of Helgoland. From the top of the lighthouse you can get amazing views of the island, its harbor and the colorful, thatched-roof houses in the quaint, seaside village. There are trails that lead around the island to explore its rocky, coastal habitats, full of wildflowers, native plants, birds, and an abundance of sea life. Visitors may take a break from the cliffside stroll at one of the surrounding beaches and take in the splendor of the North Sea.
