Lecco and Monte Due Mani are in the province of Lecco, Italy. The area is situated just southwest of Lake Como and offers some of the most spectacular views in the area. Lecco is a charming town that is filled with winding streets and is home to the Castello Pirelli which dates to the thirteenth century. From here you can take in views of the lake and the snow caped peaks. At the top of Monte Due Mani you will find a crucifix dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the Great War adorning the hill with the lake behind it. Ballabio is easily reached by taking a cable car up the hill. The views of Lecco and the lake are fantastic and you can see a number of small villages in the area as well as the snow-capped peaks of the Alps. There are several hiking trails around the area and if you are staying in Lecco you can easily take a daytrip to Ballabio.
