Le Cloitre - Tréguier Cathedral is one of the most spectacular sights in the region of Brittany, France. The entire complex was listed as a French National Heritage Site in 1862 and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the area. The cathedral’s construction started in the 11th century and was completed in the 13th century, though slight modifications were made in the 19th century. An impressive 39m tall steeple with a blue octogonal spire is visible from miles away and the rose window on the south façade is a popular photo spot. Visitors can walk around the exterior and admire the fine stone carvings that adorn the facade. Inside, the richly decorated cathedral is home to a variety of works of art such as sculptures, tombs, and a beautiful wood-paneled ceiling.
