The Lausanne Cathedral is located in Lausanne, Switzerland, and is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. It was built in 1275 and completed in 1284, making it one of the oldest and most famous buildings in Lausanne. The main facade, with its rose window, is particularly impressive. Inside, you can admire the high vaulted ceilings, Romanesque and Gothic stained glass windows, and an 18th-century organ with 4,000 pipes. The cathedral also houses the tombs of the most distinguished parishioners. Guided tours are provided and it's definitely worth taking some time to explore the historic building and its artwork. The cathedral is located in the city center, close to the lake and the Old Town, so you should easily find it.
