Latona's Pool and Parterre is a pair of ornamental fountains located in the Palace of Versailles in Versailles, France. Located in the south-east corner of the palace garden, this enchanting garden is made up of the Lower Parterre, the upper Parterre and Latona's Pool. The Parterres are an array of flower beds, pathways and statues, all carefully arranged for an exquisite effect, while the Pool is a vast expanse of water, bordered by sculptures and trees and surrounded by terraces. The two are linked by a series of cascades and streams. This delightful garden is the perfect location to appreciate the exquisite landscaping and architectural design of the grounds of the Palace of Versailles.
