Las Torres de la Pedriza are granite summits in La Pedriza Posterior, the higher, northern sector of the rocky massif above Manzanares el Real, within Sierra de Guadarrama National Park. Their clustered towers create a jagged skyline above a landscape of rounded domes, steep slabs and enormous boulders. Fractures and erosion have shaped the granite into narrow gaps and blocky pinnacles, revealing the geological character that makes La Pedriza a distinctive walking and rock-climbing landscape. Pine-covered slopes beneath the exposed rock provide a contrast of color and texture, while distant views show how the towers fit into the wider maze of granite.
