Lake Wakatipu is situated in Mount Creighton, New Zealand and is one of the country's stunning glacial lakes. Lying below the dramatic rocky peaks of the Southern Alps and surrounded by forests, the lake is 80-kilometres long and a popular destination for swimming, boating, fishing and hiking. Its steep, jagged shoreline showcases some of New Zealand's most beautiful scenery, featuring glaciers, waterfalls, alpine meadows and wildlife.
