The Lake Street bridge is a double deck, bascule bridge which crosses the Chicago River in Chicago, United States. It was built in 1928 by the Polk Brothers’ Construction Company and spans a total length of 1,567 ft. With its open steel arch, the bridge is the fifth longest double-deck bridge in the world. It is also a popular spot for photographers and urban explorers alike, providing stunning views of the bustling city. There is free parking along the road, as well as public transportation near the bridge. Be sure to take plenty of pictures, as this is sure to be one of the most memorable experiences of your visit to Chicago.
