The Lake of Wuhan, located in Wu Han Shi, China, is the largest lake in Central China. It is a man-made lake created by the damming of the Yangtze River and its tributaries. The lake covers an area of almost 2,500 sq. km and is home to a variety of fish and other aquatic species. It is often referred to as the "Pearl of the Yangtze".
