Lake Garda is situated in Northern Italy, just below Trentino and is the largest lake present in Italy. It borders the provinces of Brescia, Verona and Trento, and is situated in the north of the country. The Centro Benedettino Nago-Torbole, a Benedictine center, is situated along the coast of Lake Garda near Nago-Torbole. It is the ideal place for water sports, with excellent windsurfing and kitesurfing conditions and sandy beaches. The lake also has a number of theme and water parks, making it a popular destination for families. Nature lovers can explore the unspoiled countryside, or take a boat to one of the many islands in the lake. Adventure seekers will find here canyoning, zip lines, and paragliding. Visitors can also explore countless quaint villages and small towns, where a range of cultural events are held throughout the year, such as Puccini night, the olive harvest, and lake festivals.
