Lake Czarne in Włocławek is a great place to relax, swim and enjoy some breathtaking scenes of nature. It lies within the Włocławski National Park and is surrounded by a pine forest. It covers an area of 14.5 hectares and has a perimeter of 5.4 km. It is famous for its crystal clear waters, abundant fish life and diverse bird species. The average depth of the lake is 3 m and its maximum depth is 6 m. Hiking and cycling facilities are available on the trails that encircle the lake. The wide beaches are a favourite place for sunbathing, fishing and swimming. Several restaurants and accommodation facilities, as well as kayak rentals and watersport facilities, can be found close to the lake.
