Lake Agnes is a popular destination at Lake Louise in Banff National Park, Canada. The lake is situated at an elevation of 2135 meters and is a great spot to stroll and enjoy the stunning views over Lake Louise and the surrounding mountains. The highlight of the adventure is the iconic Tea House, located at the top of the steep trail up the mountain, which offers a crowd-free refuge from the often busy area of the lake. The easy hike around the lake takes about one and a half hours, though you can take the trail up to the Tea House and explore further up the mountain. Wildlife in the area may include marmots, pikas, bighorn sheep, and bears, so be sure to come prepared and stay on the trail. It is important to remember that this is a mountain wilderness area and cell phone reception can be very limited.
