Laguna Espejo, located in Futaleufú, Chile, is an amazing natural wonder. The lagoon is fed by the snowmelt rivers of the Patagonian Andes and is so clear that the mountains are reflected in its steadier waters. The lagoon is a spectacular sight with its deep greenish blue color and surrounded by emerald green hills and dense foliage of lenga and coihue. It is perfect place to swim, wander around its banks or take a kayak out to explore it. Laguna Espejo is also a great place to witness Chilean forestry and birdlife. The lagoon can be easily accessed by dirt roads that branch off the Carretera Austral just after the Los Lagos bridge.
