Lago Ritom is a glacial lake located in the Swiss Alps near the town of Quinto in the canton of Ticino. It's an idyllic spot for hikers, campers and photographers alike. The lake situated at an altitude of 1701 metres and is surrounded by tall alpine peaks. While hiking around the lake, visitors will get to experience spectacular views of the surrounding mountain ranges, meadows, glaciers and waterfalls. It's an ideal location for taking photographs of the stunning alpine landscape and you won't be disappointed. In the summer months, the lake is also a great spot for swimming or watersports activities. For those needing some rest, there are a few restaurants, cafes and hotels around the lake offering great Swiss cuisine and comfortable accommodations.
