The Laghi di Bella Comba is a pair of glacial lakes located in the Alpine region of La Thuile in north-west Italy. Surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, the two lakes offer a scenic stroll with views of the Mont Blanc massif and a variety of wildlife from marmots and ibex to chamois and golden eagles. Hiking and biking trails weave through the region, so you can explore the area and its wildlife on foot or by bicycle. The region is also known for its ski resorts, snowshoeing, ice climbing and paragliding, as well as offering wonderful opportunities for photographers. Local restaurants provide some of the best Italian dishes, as well as delicious local deserts such as gianduiotto made with Pralines and sugar. To get to the Laghi di Bella Comba, visitors can take the A5 Autostrada motorway from Milan or Turin. There is also a convenient cable car connection from La Thuile that takes 15 minutes.
