The Lacs des Chéserys are situated in the Chamonix area of the French Alps, wedged between two majestic mountains – Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi. The glistening lakes are accessible from the parking lot of the La Flégère ski area, and offer breathtaking views of the mighty Mont Blanc mountain chain. This trail takes you through an old growth forest and is a perfect spot for hikers, nature lovers and photographers. The trail surrounds two large alpine lakes, Lac Blanc and Lac Vert, at an elevation of 2000 metres. Along the trail you will find forests, meadows, streams, a waterfall and a few places to take a rest and marvel at the beautiful scenery. The hike is moderate with some inclines, however, the views that greet you will be worth the effort!
