
Lac de Bret is a picturesque lake located in the village of Puidoux in the Swiss canton of Vaud. The lake lies at the foot of the magnificent Swiss Alps, creating a peaceful setting and providing stunning views. Visitors come here to relax, go swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, or go on a boat trip. There are plenty of trails around the lake, including the Bret Trail (1.3 km), which will take you around the lake and through the wooded areas. Other trails lead to the nearby villages of St-Légier and Bursinel. There are also several restaurants near the lake, offering good Swiss cuisine. A visit to Lac de Bret is an ideal day-trip from Geneva, Lausanne, or Montreux.
