La Sèvre Niortaise and La Roussille are two side rivers of the city of Niort in France. Both rivers traverse the different districts of the city and provide a charming backdrop to the city's landscapes. La Roussille runs around the outskirts of the city and meets with the Sèvre Niortaise in Rochefort-en-Yvelines. La Roussille serves mainly the agricultural land of Niort. Both rivers offer a perfect way to explore the nature and wildlife of the area, making a refreshing stop for a picnic or a gentle walk. They are also a popular spot to find local species of fish and sustainably-managed boats for fishing trips.
