La Rosa Náutica is a famous sculpture in Miraflores, a district of Lima, Peru. Created by artist Victor Delfin, it overlooks the Pacific Ocean along the “cliff of love”. The easily recognizable symbol of the coastal area is a nine foot red rose crafted out of iron that rises out of the water. It serves as a tribute to the people of Peru, admirers of the sea, and travelers from all over the world who come to witness its beauty. On any visit it is sure to be a backdrop for pictures and special selfies. A wave-shaped stairway of rocks make it a perfect spot for walking and taking in the sights and atmosphere of this region. La Rosa Náutica gives a strong feeling of peace, strength and comfort and is one of Miraflores’ most iconic and loved attractions.
