📍 Italy
La Nuvola, or "The Cloud," is a symbol of modern Rome and one of many interesting and unique sculptures located in the Italian capital. Constructed in 1996 for the "Millennium for Rome" celebrations, and designed by distinguished architect and designer Massimiliano Fuksas, La Nuvola is located in the southwestern corner of EUR, the planned district of Rome. The remarkable building consists of tessellated glass and metal elements, and looks like a geometrical cloud. La Nuvola is popular among tourists visiting Rome, and recently has also emerged as a meeting point for the younger generation. Visitors can take photographs, or marvel at the architectural sculpture and its special frame, created by the geometry of the lines and its surroundings. Additionally, La Nuvola is also a great spot to take in views of the vast and striking skyline of the city of Rome.
