La Lonja de la Seda de Valencia, also known as the Silk Exchange, is a Gothic-style building located in the historic center of València, Spain. It was built in the 15th century and is considered one of the most important and best-preserved examples of civil Gothic architecture in Europe. The interior is known for its stunning double spiral staircase and intricate stone carvings. The main attraction is the Sala de Contratación (Contract Hall), where merchants used to negotiate silk prices. The building is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular destination for photography enthusiasts. It is open to visitors daily, except on Mondays, and tickets can be purchased at the entrance. Photography is allowed inside, but flash is prohibited. If you're looking to capture the full grandeur of this building, try visiting during the golden hour or at night when it is beautifully lit up.
