La Grande Roue de Montréal is a 60-meter tall ferris wheel situated on the banks of Montreal's St. Lawrence River. Visitors for a magnificent view of the skyline, the port and the surrounding area of Montreal. It features 42 450-kg cabins to accommodate up to 8 people that can withstand the harsh Canadian winters. Built in the middle of 2017, La Grande Roue de Montréal is an iconic landmark of the city. An added bonus is that each cabin is equipped with an audio system so visitors can listen to a live guide while getting the spectacular views. To ensure safety, the cabins are climate-controlled and equipped with seat belts, as per Canadian safety codes. With 180,000 visitors since opening, this is definitely a must visit if you're in Montreal.
